The Davinci Code.
Here is where you can share your opinions on the Davinci Code. So far I don't have any opinions on it. Maybe i'll make up some of my own when I see your opinions on it. If you have any other topics you would want to share, feel free to ask me to post it for you.

See, this is why I love Danny boy. He's so much smarter then the rest of you douche bags.
the main person in the book who is spouting all the shit happens to end up the bad guy. just thought you might wanna know. And the Da Vinci Code itself in old. as in the storyline. somebody already wrote a book like that called "gods daughter" or something. All the things in the story is actually what some people believe. except the fact that "opus Dei" has no monks. but the priory of sion and all that is real.
I think the book in itself isnt bad. It's the Idea behind the book.
Danny boy is right in saying that somthings in the book are true. But there lies the danger.The book holds alot of facts that are true and proven, but the idea that Jesus married is false, it also gives the impression that Jesus was a mortal, and not the son of God, THAT IS UNFORGIVABLE.
A perverted truth is more dangerous than an outright lie. Good propaganda isn't based on outright lies, it's based mainly on truths(the bait) with a small but pivotall lie(the hook) buried deeply inside. You swallow it, you don't see the harm, you're hooked, you're buggerd.
This book is responsible for confusing and spreading doubt in many people's minds." It's filled with all these historical facts, but then there are these little bits thrown in that are not proven, but all the other stuff was true, so these small details must be true as well (natural conclusion), but the bible doesnt mention these things, and suggests against them, so the bible must be wrong".
I have spoken to far too many people who have been confused and led rather astray by this book to consider it to be even remotely innocent, or just another piece of fiction.And so I am firmly against it.
Tim, what proof do you have that Jesus wasn't married?
